You don’t have to buy or build a complete mudroom closet to create plenty of hanging and storage space by your front door (or any other door for that matter).
1. Size Matters. Bigger is Not Always Better.
The Crosley Furniture company created the Brennan 2 Piece Entryway Set, which provides virtually all of the functionality of a traditional mudroom system. That being so, it is much easier to install.
It comes as 2 separate smaller pieces that weigh less and are easier to move around. For many people, that can mean the difference between getting a piece of mudroom furniture or not. I can personally say that I am in favor of “easy”.

3. Entryway Set Comes Complete with Accessories
Another cool feature of this entryway bench and shelf set is that it comes complete with wicker storage baskets for the cubbies and a cushion for the bench. Most storage organizers do not include accessories such as these, especially wicker baskets. I think this is a nice bonus.
4. What I Like About the Shoe Cubbies
Although easy to miss, I don’t want to skip over the shoe cubby area. I like the fact that the bench has built-in shoe storage, but it isn’t overloaded with slots.
Some people may want to store 16 pairs of shoes by the door (especially with a family of 5). However, if you don’t have that many shoes, having a giant shoe cubby bench can be a little much, not to mention a waste of storage space.
5. Storage Organizer Color Options
